Spaghetti Eddie’s to Host Food Drive for Community

Spaghetti Eddie’s Cucina Italiana is again helping feed the less fortunate in Glendora, Irwindale and surrounding communities.

During the whole month of August, Spaghetti Eddie's is hosting a 3-5 Summer Food Drive to help stock nearby, Shephard’s Pantry. The non-profit has locations in Glendora, Irwindale and La Puente and works to assist those fighting hunger with weekly food distributions.

Community members willing to help will be rewarded. Those who bring in three non-perishables will enjoy $10 off their table’s check at the Italian restaurant, and those who donate five non-perishable items will receive $15 off.

Anyone willing to bring more than five items are welcome to do so.

Spaghetti Eddie’s is looking to collect the following non-perishables jars, packages, and canned items for the community.

  • Boxed pastas & potatoes
  • Cold & hot cereals
  • Spaghetti sauce
  • Syrup
  • Peanut butter & assorted jellies
  • Granola bars
  • Chips
  • Cup-o-Soup & Ramen
  • Juices & Drinks
